Leopold Hotels at Christmas

At the Leopold Hotel Sheffield the Christmas lights are being turned on nice and early. When it comes to December you can be sure the city will be twinkling. The Sheffield Christmas market runs from the 14th of November to 24th of December set up and takes place in Faregate. This year, we're sure you won’t be disappointed. The traditional Christmas Market is set up with wooden cabins offering a fantastic selection of festive goods, from food, to drink to hand crafted goods. This year the Moroccan market is going to be set up alongside the Christmas and between the two you’ll find Santa in Sheffield’s own little Lapland.

Antwerp’s Christmas market takes place from the 6th – 27th of December.  If you can make it to Antwerp on opening night, the 6th December then do! There will be a fantastic light spectacular parade to celebrate the first night. Throughout Antwerp there will be Christmas festivities spread throughout the city to include Steenplein (location of the Ice rink), Suikerrui, Groenplaats & Grote Markt. Our location near all these spots makes Leopold Hotel Antwerp the ideal accommodation to enjoy the Christmas Market.

Two Christmas markets will be taking place in Oudenaarde this year. The main event will be happening in the Market Square, just a short distance from us! Seasonal events will begin on the 4th of December which includes an ice skating rink. You’ll find a wide selection of stalls serving festive food, warming drinks & gifts. A smaller market will open up during the last two weekends before Christmas offering even more goodies!
